Tasting notes

This Pinot Gris Macéré boasts lively notes of ripe pear and crisp green apple, with a subtle hint of floral undertones, culminating in a refreshing and aromatic finish.

Food pairing

Consider pairing it with light seafood dishes such as grilled shrimp or oysters, or with creamy pasta dishes like fettuccine Alfredo to complement its fruity and floral notes while balancing its acidity.

Winemaking

The harvested grapes were put into stainless steel tanks with the whole clusters and maceration carbonic was carried out for one to two months. Then 50% of the grapes were destemmed, and the remaining 50% were pressed to make wine. The pressed wine was then put into a tank with the grapes and they were macerated for 3 weeks with punching down twice a day. The wine was pressed again and bottled at the end of fermentation to produce a slightly effervescent type of wine. Just before bottling, 15ppm of sulfites was added.
